Will my computer work correctly after installing drivers?

I must have deleted a system file because when I tried doing a system restore, it gave me an error. It stated that if I were to have a recovery disk that I could fix it.

I did not have one, but read you go to to any computer and convert a USB to one. I did that with my friends Lenovo laptop and fixed my Dell Desktop with it.

However, everything got worse from there. My Wi-Fi doesn't work, my dell thinks its a lenovo laptop, and very slow now. I contacted dell and they informed me that they will send me the correct drivers and all that.

Now, once I install the correct dell drivers will my computer work correctly? I hope Wi-Fi works, it thinks its a dell, and it speeds up in general.

If not, how can I get my desktop back to how it was when I first took it out of the packaging 6 months ago?

If you have used a levono recovery disk then that is why your dell thinks its a levono, all the drivers are wrong so its not suprising things don't work.
Hopefully with the correct drivers it should work, otherwise the simplest thing would be a clean install with some dell recovery disks, again contact Dell who should be able to supply

Most computer makers while having the same OS will add their own little stuff and when you copied the Lenovo repair OS and it will be a little different than Dells. You can install the correct drivers and hope that will fix the problem. If not, then you will have to have Dell or a local repair shop wipe the hard drive and reload it with your OS.

Yes it should work good after installing drivers.
