Okay so i just got windows 10 and my laptop is running a bit slower now, so i found out i can try a clean install and that will probably help but when i went to the part that says i want to keep my files, it says it will remove the following programs. Most of them i can re-download and don't mind losing but the ones that stood out the most was the intel(r) ( intel(r)-experience center desktop software, managment engine components, processor graphics, rapid storage tech, smart connect tech, update manager, and proset/wireless software). Aren't these important for my computer since it is a lenovo intel core i7! Should i save my files even though i back them up or should i not even worry about anything and just clean install it removing everything on my computer?
Windows 10 clean install wants to remove intel r
Many of those programs are used to manage the advanced functions of the Intel hardware. Most of them can be downloaded and installed from Intel's website under support and downloads. It comes down to if you are comfortable searching for and reinstalling that software. But most of it is not needed for the basic functionality of the computer. Also, you can download that software straight from Lenovo's website under the driver section for your model computer although it may show up under Windows 7 or 8/8.1 (depending on what your computer came with). I would checkout Intel's website though for the newest software to be compatible with Windows 10.
