Added (1). Just to add, I'll be doing a lot of gaming, programming (android development), movie watching (that's why I like the FHD).
Added (2). Also, since I program alot, I really like backlit keyboard too.
Up to you, I'm not sure what you would be using it for. But if its for general use you get a cheaper one that would do the job, but if you want to play games on it aswell then i think that laptop would be all good.

No Go… Too expensive. There are better alternatives if you want a gaming laptop (look at ASUS).
