The shell of my laptop is starting to fall into pieces. It's gaining cracks on the side, the screws are loose, some parts are missing (exterior, so it's not much of a problem) + the paint is starting to fade.
In terms of utility, my laptop is as good as ever! (except for some minor problems, but I can live with it). I just find it's physical appearance right now unflattering.
Do you think if I bring my laptop to a local Lenovo support center (Philippines), they would allow this kind of replacement. And how long would you think it take?
Ps. I could only show so much of what my laptop looks like right now, I'm sorry!
Do you think it's possible to have the entire shell of my Lenovo S400 touch replaced?

If the shell is available they could change it out for about $150. It should take a few hours. The problem is that they don't stock the shells and likely can't even order them new. They might have a used shell from one that got replaced. All you can do is take it in and ask.

Parts and labor are expensive, and your laptop is aging.
Determine the proper set of screws that need replacing, and any missing hardware.
Look closely at the cracks. If paint or non-functional, do not worry about it. If it is the shell, find a plastic epoxy to seal them. Buy a laptop skin to cover the top.
