Replaced Lenovo g700 laptop screen. Backlight in New screen does not work. Any ideas?

When i reinstall the old screen, the backlight works fine. New screen will come on but there's no back light. Any ideas?

If you did not buy the EXACT replacement screen (not by laptop model number, but by the sticker on back of the screen), then it might not work correctly.
