For you gamers and good/semi good computer wizes?

I wanted to get some insights on this possible laptop I'm about to get. Do you think this would be fine for school and some gaming usage? The only "big" game I really play is Aion. Sometimes Left 4 Dead. Other than that game(s) and some school work, I watch and stream videos online.

This is the laptop I'm going to get:

(I'm a working student so I don't really want to use over $1000+ on a new comp.)

The last laptop I got was a Lenovo Ideapad y500, and that broke on me after 6 months. So if anyone has had any experience with the new laptop I'm about to get, how long and how good did it last you? XD

It should be really good for your situation

It isn't a bad laptop but you can build a better one from Dell for less money. I had a similar specced Dell machine for $50 less. It would deal with mid level moderate gaming just fine, obviously not the best gaming laptop but for the price not bad.

Good price to be getting that Nvidia card.

Cheers and Good Luck

Laptops don't tend to last that long when gaming. They turn super slow and just don't function right. I suggest you get a desktop. Get a AMD CPU dual core with at least 2gb RAM and a decent graphics card. A nvidia geforce 610 should do fine. And for your memory 1TB SATA should be fine but even 500gb is good. This should cost somewhere between 500-700$ and will play those games in pretty high graphics.

It'll last much longer than a laptop, and you can even upgrade your ram, CPU and graphics card if you ever decide to play high end games like call of duty, battlefield, skyrim and more!
