How do I get the mouse cursor back on my laptop?

I have a Lenovo laptop and there's no mouse cursor on it. One of my cats walked across my keyboard and I have no idea what they hit. People keep telling me to go into the settings and click this or that but I HAVE NOTHING TO CLICK WITH.
