In regards to gaming, how hot should your computer get? I know you need to download a program to check gpu temp but I don't know which is reliable. I have a brand new Lenovo y410p which is a decent gaming laptop. Also, when I put a temp gun next to the fan it reads like 115 degrees Fahrenheit. Does this sound about right or is this really bad?

Aida64 is what I use, it's very reliable and I love it.
You can also use this - http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html - HWmonitor - it (as-well as Aida64) is very reliable and the temperatures are always accurate.
And yes, 115F (46C), is very normal, actually really good for a gaming Laptop. The highest you want it to get to is 80C, any higher and you'd risk damage to your computer.
