at what temperature is the plastic going to melt inside the laptop? (lenovo t-43 refurbished)Laptop feels hot to the touch - 1 Added (1). It feels hot in the bottom

A laptop must be positioned on a flat area with room for air to come in to the bottom. If it is on a soft cloth surface it will overheat.
A cooling pad for it to sit on is required when playing video software,
The fan is what normally keeps it cool and you can hear it to tell if it is running. You may be blocking the fan. It is normal for a laptop to have periods where it gets hot during heavy video demand. It is possible to overheat a laptop by extended play of games that over- tax the unit.
