How much would you pay for this laptop?

I would like to sell my almost new Lenovo G500s. I have done a few tweaks to it so the specs are:

CPU: i5-3230m 3MB Dual Core 3.2Ghz

GPU: Intel HD 4000: NVIDIA GT 720M

Memory: 12GB 1600mHz

HDD: 2TB 7.200RPM

SSD: 128GB Kingston Pro

USB3.0, HDMI, VGA, SD, HD Audiao

OS: Windows 7 Professional

Thanks for your help… What you you sell this for? It's only about 5 months old and OS was reinstalled. Free of errors.

Thanks,

Added (1). It still has a one year warranty until next year February. I might upgrade the CPU to a i7 8MB Cache Quad Core at 35W but I think it would be a 3.6GHz (another extra $320)

I could also install Windows 8.1 Pro since the PC came with it.

Added (2). And the laptop was made in Feb.2014. And let me remind you 12GB Ram and 2TB 7.200HDD + 128GB SSD

Added (3). Sorry for all the updates. I just want a cheap tablet and that would be enough. I only check email and write on my blog so a $50 tablet with a keyboard is plenty. I love building computers for others though and upgrading and making systems amazing

I'd pay 400-500 personally but you could probably get more.

Sounds nice but with no warranty and second hand i have to say $200!

I'll pay $300

Go to eBay and search for your model of laptop, then click "completed listings" down the left side to see what they have been selling for over the last month (and what people asked that didn't sell).

Seeing as you have a Nvidia 720m GPU, I assume this is a laptop?

If it's still under warranty, I would expect to pay about 750.00 for this second hand computer, only because it's a Lenovo, which is a good name brand, and because it has a SSD, which is really cool. If it's not under warranty, or you didn't activate the warranty, then you can't expect more than $600 for it. Your computer is an entry level gaming system, which is nice. Apart from the OS, you can still get comparable computers new for around 1100 dollars. I would tend to think it's older than 5 months, since windows 7 hasn't been available on a new computer for over a year.

You didn't mention the screen size. If it's 17 inch, then add $100 dollars. I've assumed it's a 15.6. If it's a touchscreen, then ask another $100 dollars again.

If you live in the UK, you can ask more, since computers are tremendously more expensive there.

The only weak points of this machine is the processor, which is a mid ranged processor, and the OS, which is last generation. A lot of people still like windows 7, but in about a year, it's going to start feeling really outdated.

This is a good computer you're selling, it will perform very well with most modern games on highest quality settings. You should hang onto it if you can, it's worth more than what you can sell it for by the looks of it.
