I have a Lenovo U400 and one day when I tried to load up a video I found it wasn't working. I had the sound up, the mixers were fine and nothing seemed to be messed up. I went to turn on spotify thinking it was something up with youtube or my video player and it told me my sound card wasn't working properly. I'm not the most amazing when it comes to hardware but I know there's no dedicated sound card in my laptop. I don't know where to find it let alone how I would need to fix it. Is this an issue I can fix, or do I need to get an external sound box/card?
How to fix my laptop's sound card?

Well you can replace a sound card on a laptop, it would cost more to do then it is worth, but before you go and buy a new computer try going to the laptop manufactures web site and downloading the audio drives and see if that works for you at all.
