Long answer, The compatibility of two devices can't be determined just be mentioning product range. The main ingredient in Computer Technology is drivers. If your printer manufacturer provides the drivers for your given laptop, it is compatible. Else not ( in general way, but you can always to greater extents by modding/patching drivers and even writing your own drivers.). Ideapad is a whole range of laptops, there are different specifications, prices, hardware, etc. Ideapad was started in 2008, so it must be a 64 bit CPU device, and if you are planning to buy a new printer, they all are compatible.
