I need a good laptop for light gaming and schoolwork?

I built my own custom gaming desktop for around $1200 and I'm thinking about selling it and buying a cheap laptop. I've pretty much stopped gaming and I only ever use it for netflix. I would like to buy an cheap but decent laptop for around 700-750$, preferably without integrated graphics. Any recommendations/ideas?
