Intel graphics HD driver not installing?

Okay, so I wanted to update my graphics drivers, I tried following the instructions given on both the Intel website and various other places and nothing is working.

I first uninstalled the drivers through add/remove programs.
Then I went to the Intel site and downloaded the latest drivers--both the.exe and.zip versions, tried both. I ran all the different setup methods listed in the readme but every time all I get is "one or more drivers failed to install" with the error apparently in "Intel Turbo Boost Technology" driver.

Next downloaded drivers suitable from Lenovo website. But that too failed with error "one or more drivers failed to install"

Help would be very much appreciated.
