Is it possible to change my processor to a better one on my Lenovo Ideapad 120S laptop?

It's mainly used for college and watching Netflix. The processor is slow and I can live with it, but it just would be better if it was possible for me to change out the processor to be better.

Yes "Possible",
NO! Not practical.
a CPU chip is matched to the motherboard to get maximum efficiency.
Use of a "better" chip will be a wasted expense, as the motherboard will bottle neck the system.

Then there's the problem of "Solid State", laptops are all Fixed to the motherboard (except sometimes RAM & Hard Drive) so they will not come loose during travel.

Its HIGHLY unlikely, i have only seen a few (less than 5 models) that can upgrade to a new processor.
generally they are soldered to the board and non swappable.

If you had a desktop computer and decided to switch the processor you could by just buying a new one and taking the old one out or by buying a new motherboard and processor combo. For laptops, you can't really buy a new processor since the processor is usually soldered to the board and it would be a big mess if you took the processor off and put a new one on. It is not practical to do it.

No. Laptops are not made to upgrade their processors under normal conditions. If you're a hacker then you might have the resources to do it but I'm assuming you aren't, like the 99% rest of us…
