Is Lenovo AC Adapter supports any Lenovo laptop?

I have a friend who has the laptop that look the same as my laptop, only it is bigger, I have lost my AC adapter, Is it ok if I use his AC adapter with my laptop? His AC adapter is bigger than mine

You need to know a few things.
1) Is the pin the same that connects with the laptop? There are +/- differences on occasion, but more importantly, a larger outside could bend the connection inside and ruin the DC input jack. A smaller one does not make good contact.
2) There's a voltage shown on each DC converter. The voltage needs to be very close as generally no more than 5% different and maybe less. If you lost yours, you should be able to check the specifications on ones sold for your laptop.
3) Wattage - needs to be equal or higher to assure power to run the PC and charge the battery. Extra available wattage is normally not an issue.

Lenovo only actually manufactures Thinkpads, but, only Asus and MSI remain as laptop manufacturers.
The Acer, HP, Dell, Toshiba, etc are just brand names and not the true manufacturer.

Notice BRAND vs MANUFACTURER.
So, the DC adapter for a Dell may be the same one as HP or Lenovo (Thinkpad is more special).
Ideapads get good quality control.

Looks like times are changing, and Asus cut their own manufacturing and Pegatron partnership
