Is my computer processor just bad, or do I have a serious issue with my computer?

Hi. My computer is a Lenovo G50. (Laptop)

Anyways, I'm using this laptop for Extremely simple things. I play Minecraft, maybe browse the web, or use skype. Although, my problem is that it lags way to much for me to do this at the same time. Do I have an issue, or is my computer just too nooby to even run three programs?

Specs:
AMD A6-6310 APU
AMD Radeon R4 Graphics
4.00 GB Ram
64-bit Windows 8

P.S. I'm not a real computer whiz, as I don't know all of the technical terms and such. Any solutions would be nice.

Price range of new 15.6" laptops in the USA is about $200 to over $2000.
I recently got a good deal on a Toshiba with A8-6410 R5 graphics 4GB RAM 1TB HDD for $250.
It is about a $300 laptop.

Graphics performance of R4 6310 is appx the same as R5 6410

So, you can see your laptop is about a $250 laptop with a standard 500GB HDD
To run multiple programs that use a lot of ram, you need more ram.
The laptop probably has a 4GB card and can add a 4GB card if you can do it yourself, in the USA for about $25

The laptop is not very powerful as new laptops go, especially as a weak CPU.
It should be able to handle each of what you show fairly acceptably, but running them at the same time takes resources. You may have other things running as well that may or may not be necessary.

4 GB ram is way too small after you load Windows, and the startup programs in background (anti-virus, printer utility, mouse driver, video driver).
While you think that A6 APU can do miracles, running several applications will slow down any computer in a game, no matter what CPU rating.
