Gaming? No. Flash games and little browser stuff? Sure. That processor alone though is way too slow. It alone likely reflects the rest of the hardware that came with it. In any means you won't be playing any actual games on that.

It may be good enough for your needs but NO LAPTOP is a good choice for gaming. Obviously an expensive laptop will be better than a cheap one, but the design objectives of a laptop are to minimize the power consumption and maximize the battery life. This is in direct conflict with the needs of a gaming machine. Newer CPUs etc give much better performance for a given power consumption so the best laptop for gaming will be the newest.
