But this would classify as "bare minimum" for most games. However, when you have a budget to stick to, it may as good as you can get.
That's not a gaming laptop, by any stretch of the imagination. If your goal is Minecraft, it will work. Past that, wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole.
There are no "good gaming laptops" under 500

If you go for Lenovo, I would say that you can forget the $500 threshold because what is really worth buying would cost you around $1,200, and it is a Lenovo Y70 FHD 17.3 Inch Touchscreen Gaming Laptop. I do have a Lenovo z50-70 Full HD, which I bought 3 years ago and I'm very much satisfied with its performance although the latest game I was playing was Grid 2, but that one runs perfectly on full graphics in 1920x1080. However, I must add that within the two years of warranty, I had to bin the HDD because it stopped working due to a minor "shock", and then the motherboard fried suddenly, which again took a few weeks to get fixed but still with warranty. I also hate the touchpad because it has an annoying bug. This laptop cost me around $900 3 years ago.
Sounds like it would play most games at low to medium settings. Certainly much better than any Intel integrated graphics solution.
