Is there any way for me to not drop or trip over my laptop

I have broken at least 3 laptops because I fell over it, trip over it because of the cord. I had 2 laptops with a short cord and I tripped over it many times, causing for all of them to crack on the hinge. They are cheap laptops like $400 toshiba or Lenovo.

I got a new laptop or 'ideapad' and this one I have now, is smaller and thinner so I hope I will not have that same issue. So far because its a thinner and smaller design i have not dropped it but I tripped i over the cord today…

Buy a replacement charger that uses a breakaway connector. If you trip over the cord, the special connector pulls apart so you don't drag the laptop onto the floor.

Of course a cheaper option is to avoid trailing the cable across the floor in the first place. If there isn't an electrical socket in the correct place, use an extension cable so you can route it more safely.

I'd suggest practicing being aware of things such as the cords or the location of the laptop. Deliberately think about where you put it when you set it down, pay attention to where the cord is, etc. With time it'll become a habit to think like that.

You just can't fix

Well, you should ALWAYS be using it on a flat sturdy surface, like a table, and lead the power cords off the back of that table, not in front of where your feet go.

Friend do you know what Alcoholics Anonymous says it says that doing the same thing that you've always done and expecting different results is insanity friend this is not rocket scientist put your cord where you can't step on it one of these days you're going to do a lot more than just knock a laptop off of the table you're going to trip over the cord and injure yourself don't let that happen put the cord someplace that you can't trip over it

Longer plug maybe or a cord affixed to the wall then you plug into that so its not on the floor
