My computer has had lots of BSODs due to failure of the graphics drivers and issues with crashing of the graphics driver. Recently it has had stuttering problems during video/gaming and occasionally lags as well. I have a Lenovo laptop with both discrete GPU (Nvidia) which is up to date and a Intel HD Graphics. I tried updating the Intel graphics but it said I have a customized computer manufacturer driver and I have not updated it since I got the computer. I have had it for about 10 months.
Laptop lag/stuttering problem?
What games are we trying to play? What OS version are you running? Properly installed video card drivers do not constantly fail…
What make / model computer do you have?
Imagine computer information flowing through a computer like cars flowing through a city. Then on a certain day there's a major spectacle in the heart of the city. Everyone wants to attend. There's no public transport, so they use cars. What happens here is the equivalent of a BSOD. It's when the demands asked of the system exceeds what it was designed to do. It sounds like there's game being played that demands more to run properly.
So what is needed? Could be several factors. Does the GPU and processor meet the minimum specs of the software?
Run a clean program like ccleaner and anti virus to start. Then reduce all background running programs to a minimum.
Running the game on the lowest settings may improve the movement of the images because it doesn't have to deliver as many dpi to the screen, the equivalent off too many cars travelling to the middle of a city.
