Today I got a brand new Lenovo Z50 (1TB SSHD, 8GB DDR3 RAM, 4th Gen i5 processor) but for some reason it keeps stuttering randomly and it#s especially noticeable when playing music as that stutters too.
I've got 3% CPU usage and 40% memory usage so there should still be ample room for good performance.
If anyone has ideas as to how I might be able to fix this please suggest away.
Might be some programs running in the background that shouldn't, a possible, but not for sure way might be using this program CCleaner, go to registry and do a registry and application scan.
Make sure nothing is running unneccesarily in the background, update your software.
I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "stuttering" apart from the music, but if it's bad enough you may be entitled to a replacement or repair from wherever you bought it.
It could be anything from one buggy piece of software that may be fixed in a future update, to some flaw with the hardware. The former seems more likely to me though.
Also keep in mind that even with the latest and greatest hardware, lags will still occasionally happen.
