I have a Lenovo B570 here and the screen is showing black. I haven't dropped it or anything but ever since last night the screen has just been blank. The power button and all the light indicators are lighting up, just no image on the screen. If anyone has a solution or a suggestion on what I can do with this laptop, it would be greatly appreciated.

Can you see dim wihte light around the corners? If not, your display is not powering up. If it does. And logo appears, and then goes black. Then its an operating system issue. Reinstalling operating system will fix it. If even the logo doesn't appear. You need to take it to service, because there could be some problem in laptop booting system, which is highhly unlikely.or. It could be video card problem.

Take out the battery and remove the power cord, hold down the power button for about thirty seconds or more. This step resets the computer. If this doesn't work your operating system or harddrive could be the problem.
