Laptop specs: better for gaming and overall use?

Hi, I'm going to buy a laptop, which one would be better for gaming and which brand would you recommend?

Lenovo Z50-70-01418NL (price 750 euro)
i7 4510u, GPU: 840m, 8gb, 1TB SSHD + 8gb

Toshiba Satellite L50-A-1DF (price 750 euro)
i7 4700mq, GPU: 740m, 6gb, 750 gb HHD

Does the SSHD make a lot of difference for the overall use?

The Lenovo's CPU isn't nearly as good as the Toshiba one - http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i7-4700MQ-vs-Intel-4510U

When it comes to the graphics, the 740m is better - http://gpuboss.com/gpus/GeForce-GT-740M-vs-GeForce-840M

Not taking into account the extra 2GB of RAM and 250GB more HD space, I would 100% go with the Toshiba Laptop. And no, the SSHD doesn't make that much difference.

Go with the Toshiba Satellite

Lenovo Z50-70-01418NL Is More better than the other.

And in this case no it does not make a difference.

Toshiba's i7 4700mq is better than Lenovo's i7 4510u. 4510u is low power consumption CPU for everyday use not ideally for gaming. 4510u have 2 cores & 3.1 GHz turbo speed while 4700mq have 4 cores & 3.4 GHz turbo speed.
4510u have max power consumption of 15 watt while 4700mq having 47 watt.
GPU 740m have more memory (1GB MORE) and more clock speed than 840m.
Lenovo's specs is good enough but as you mention GAMING LAPTOP TOSHIBA'S Satelite is better.
