Laptop with 1 audio jack, headset with two separate cables?

Hi, I recently bought a new laptop Lenovo Z70-80 and there's just one audio jack on the right side. But my headset has got 2 cables, one for sound and one for microphone. I already bought splitter but only sound works, not microphone.

Change your sound settings to ext rather than INT Mic… Or buy a USB to Mic/headphone

Normal computer audio sockets have always been simple 3.5mm "stereo" style connectors.

Each 3.5mm socket is either an input - microphone or line in etc. - or an output for headphones, line out or speakers.
It can't be both at the same time, though they can sometimes be switchable between mike and headphone modes.

If you only have one standard audio socket, you can't use a headset with two 3.5mm plugs.

The four pole all-in-one connectors are generally for smartphones and some gaming consoles.
Some newer and still rare laptops may have these? - if yours has a four pole socket, you would probably need to switch the record source to that, from the built-in microphone.

Otherwise, your best option is to get a basic USB audio adapter (external "sound card") that has multiple connections.

(Ignore the "3D" or multichannel stuff with the first one, that's software gimmicks and it is just a stereo audio unit.)
