Laptop won't accept correct Wi-Fi password?

Just got a lenovo. Trying to put it on Wi-Fi (doesn't have ethernet - great!) and it's the same password that works with the ipod, tablet and console here at home, yet it just will not accept it. Even turned on my cellphone's mobile Wi-Fi option to test it and, yes, the computer does work with the phone's Wi-Fi signal. So what the hell?

Connect to your Router with an Ethernet Cable. Http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=ethe…
Then go to your laptop manufacturer support and download and install the WLAN Driver.

Then you can try the following troubleshooting steps
Open Internet Explorer. It may connect. If not, click on Tools>Internet Options>Advanced Tab
At the bottom it says Reset Internet Explorer Settings - Click that

Also try:
Open a DOS Prompt
Windows Key + R and type in
CMD
and press Enter
At the command prompt, enter the following command, and then press Enter:
netsh int ip reset c: esetlog.txtNote
Restart the computer.
(you can use copy paste for the command)

Start/Search - or Windows Key + R
Type in
services.msc
and press Enter
Scroll down to WLAN Autoconfig and make sure its started and on Automatic
Click Apply and OK
Restart the laptop.

Another thing is to Disable Proxy Settings http://www.ehow.com/..._disable-…

Increase Power to your wireless adapter.

Did you remember to put in the Capital Letters where they are in the password/network code, because it's case sensitive, if there are capital letters you have to put them in as capitals.

You can try to update your Wi-Fi's drivers

Wrong type of Wi-Fi. There are currently THREE standards b/g/n. And TWO frequencies 2.5 and 5 GHz in use. Your laptops Wi-Fi card is not compatable with the type your router is pushing out.

My lenovo tablet won't allow me to do anything, says some security code but I can't get it todo anything. I have had this a month and still can't get it set up.
