I lent my sims disc to a friends and I just got it back and i tried putting it in the drive but now it own t work. I thought maybe it was the disc but it won't accept any disc. When I open it the little green light turns on and it acts like it's going to startup but then the light turns off and it does nothing. I tried the disc in a different laptop and it worked. My laptop is a lenovo Windows 7. Thanks in advance. Btw it used to work so this is new.
Dvd drive won't accept discs?

Dvd drives fail and break over time, its pretty east to buy a new dvd drive and replace it yourself - just make sure its compatible with your motherboard (most are), if you are not comfortable doing it yourself then take it to your local computer shop and get them to do it for you (not P.C world or Currys) they will be able to supply, fit and install any drivers for the dvd drive and it shouldn't be too expensive
