My anime downloads always open in my movie editor and is no longer than 7 seconds, what must I do?

After you download Right-Click on the downloaded movie file and choose "Open with.". That allows you to choose what programs open them. If there's no other option to open them with or you want them to open in a specific program not listed in the menu choose the "choose program" (or whatever it says), select the program you want them to open with, and check 'Always open files of this type with this program'.
