Is a Lenovo ThinkPad 14.1 160GB Intel Core i5 2.4GHz 8GB win 10 Wi-Fi good for gaming could i play games such as arma 3,H1Z1 and rust?

What may matter is what it has for graphics. If it only has Intel graphics it is not intended for gaming. It would be easier to more tell with a specific model.

Even if it was a gaming laptop 160 GB (SSD?) would limit how many games you could install. For example my PC is running Linux from 512 GB SSD using less than half of that. But just my steamapps folder contains 146.9 GB for a bunch of games.

Also I'm used to a 32" 1080p HDTV as a monitor and everything seems tiny on a 15.6" 1080p gaming laptop, which would be even smaller on a 14.1" screen. So a gaming laptop used less than rarely would probably be ideal with 17.3" screen (unless you connect it to external display) and Nvidia (best for Linux) or AMD graphics.
