My computer won't turn on?

Yesterday my little sister dumped a cup of water on my (closed) laptop. She said it was only a little bit and only on the top part, but it won't turn on and whenever I plug it in, the light on the bottom right corner of the keyboard, cover, and the power button blinks three times and then that s it. (it is a Lenovo ThinkPad)

Any idea how I can fix it?

Thanks!

BTW: I took out the battery over night because there was no water underneath the computer, it was just on top of and where the screen hooks onto the keyboard in the back.

It's a goner. If there was water spilt on it, it could have gotten in and fried the motherboard. Take it into best buy and hope for the best

i've had a few computers die this way. For my mac though, fortunately enough, they just had to replace the keyboard and underneath it (i don't know the specifics) and was able to transfer all of my stuff onto a harddrive

Any electronic device that gets wet… The Quickest way of totally ruining it is to turn it on! The electricity thru it will take short cuts and fry many parts of it.

Instead: Put it in a paper bag with a packet of dried rice (open!) and place in an airing cupboard / warm dry place for AT LEAST 4 DAYS.

Water got in there… Under the cover and into the keyboard… Something is wrong… I can't say what… But water and laptops do not go well… Time to take that machine to a repair shop…
