My lenovo laptop broke and isn't covered by warranty. Anything i can do?

Option 1: buy a new laptop
option 2: be a little ***** and keep whining over how your Lenovo broke

The rightside hinge for opening the laptop broke & caused it to press into the screen & crack. It somehow still boots up, but the mousepad doesn't work. It runs terribly, touchscreen doesn't work only had it since march. It's a Ideapad U 53. Wondering if i have any options available to me.
