Whenever I plug in my earbuds into my windows 8 Lenovo laptop I can't hear anything does anyone know a fix?

1. Check to make sure the volume us turned up as the earphone volume and speaker volume are at different levels when the earbuds are plugged in or not.

2. Try multiple sets of earbuds to insure it's not your earbuds that are bad.

3. Check to see if the earbud port may have become unsoldered from the motherboard.
