No light on lenovo laptop and then I inadvertently put it to hibernate. Is this repairable?

My laptop Lenovo ThinkPad was working normally when I shut it down. When I turned it on 20 mins later there was no light on the screen. When it got to the "choose user" part I couldn't type in the password so I pressed fn+f12 thinking I would only turn it off but it took it to hibernation mode. Now when I turn it on I can only vaguely see "Thinkpad" on the screen and then it goes black and it turns off again. Can anyone tell me how to get out of hibernation mode when there's no light on the laptop screen? And why isn't there light in the first place?

The back light may have burned out on your Lenovo computer. This is why you see a very faint image. I'd take it to a local computer repair shop and let them see what it's doing and the possible cost of repair.
