I want to buy a Lenovo y510p with SLI. But the thing is, I know the second graphics card occupies the place where the CD/ DVD reader/ player normally is. What if I want to run a disk game? I read somewhere online about getting a disk drive, ejecting the second graphics card, and just slotting it in. Does the disk drive come with the laptop? If not where can I buy one?

Far simpler to buy a USB disk drive such as this

Your method of unplug the card powering off the computer plugging in the disk drive, installing the game removing the disk drive plugging in the card and running the game would work as long as you don't need the installation disk to validate the running of the game.
