I have a Lenovo y50p running windows 8, and the sound was running perfectly fine out of both speakers until I plugged in a USB headset. The headset itself only has one headphone on the right side and after I unplugged the headset when I was done using it, my laptop will now only play sound out of the right speaker. I have tried the 'right click sound icon->playback devices->right click speakers->properties->levels->balance' solution and it doesn't fix anything because it says the speaker are balanced! Is there any way i can get my laptop to play normally out of both speakers again or did i just screw up my sound system using that headset?
Sound on my laptop is only coming out one speaker?

Ah Grasshopper, tell me you've rebooted since this terrible affair started. If so, perhaps you simply need to uninstall your sound device in Device Manager, then tell it to re-scan for hardware changes. Maybe this make everything A-OK again.
