Toshiba or Asus for a long lasting laptop and good for sims?

I'm partial to Toshiba myself. Their products are typically not the fastest for a given budget, but they are built very well. I've owned 5 Toshiba systems since 1998. I gave away 3 of them as I upgraded to something newer. All 5 are still working as-new today.

Asus… No doubt about it.

I had both, if you want performance you get Asus, if you want to last longer, Toshiba

Asus is the #2 ranked laptop mfg just a little behind Lenovo. Toshiba is ranked well down the list, #3 from the bottom.
