Which would be the better choice?

Added (1). The Toshiba is a touchscreen laptop and is $100 less but the processor is Intel i5 compared to the Lenovo which is not a touchscreen but has Intel i7.
Also the RAM of the Toshiba is expandable to 16 GB but not the Lenovo.

I just purchased the lenovo Y510p here

http://www.vendio.com/stores

for $589.99. I think the site is having a memorial day weekend sale with free two day shipping. I'm not sure how long it will last but it will definitely meet all of your needs and is excellent for gaming.

You can save $100 dollar with the Toshiba, its touch screen, and expendable up to 16 GB. Choose the Toshiba. Its a smart choice.

I would go for the Lenovo one
