I just bought a laptop from lenovo. It's lenovo g4030 80fy002aph intel celeron n2830 but it's too slow and I can't have ot exchanged for a faster laptop on the store where I bought it. It has built in windows 8.1 OS, the kind where you just have to press a single button on the sides to reformat it. I'm thinking if switching it to windows 7 will make it faster (but the licensed windows 8.1 will be scrap)

Switching to windows 7 will make little difference. Unfortunately you can't do anything. The celeron is a budget, slow processor. Which is the main problem
