What kind of laptop brand is the best for playing WoW. I like Toshiba brand a lot?

I HATE ACER. I've had one before so please don't put one of those for an option. I really like Toshiba, I'm not like technically savvy. So if you could please help me in what kind of laptop I should get. I've played WoW for a while so I know it can be very laggy, also I want good graphics and all the good stuff. Not looking to go above 400-500$.

Just check your Sunday ads, places like Staples, Walmart, and Best Buy are always having sales on laptops, especially with school getting ready to start soon in month or more, and then they'll really be on sale. YOu could easily get a good laptop for $400-500, even on sale.
Great technology advances has made it so that nearly every laptop is a good one, the difference between great and average is very small nowadays. Because it's easy to make 500G hard drives for everyone, not just higher priced laptops.
So check out those stores and also any regional stores in your area.

- Good graphics
- Laptop
- $400-$500

Pick two.
You can build a decent computer for around $500, but gaming laptops are expensive and prone to overheating.

I would amend?'s post. You can have a laptop and $400-$500, but you can't have good graphics, not graphics good enough to play games. For $400-$500 you *might* be able to get a desktop with good enough graphics, but only if you caught something like the Black Friday sale and were very meticulous about getting the rebates sent in.

Ratings wise, Acer, Gateway and Toshiba are at the bottom of the heap. I personally would not buy anything other than a Lenovo, Asus, HP or Samsung in that order of preference. The following link might help you to see why, although my preferences are based upon 2 decades of experience with just about every brand of laptop out there, in particular, supporting people using them in the field and seeing the failure rates of the different hardware in the corporate world…
