I need one with a decent amount of storage, long battery life, and long lasting for the years. What do you like? What were your experiences? As of right now i'm considering the macbook air 11in or the lenovo thinkpad t450.

You should get a macbook, they can hold a lot, and they are very useful. It doesn't have to be an air though.
