I'm looking for something that'll run a few games well, fairly low requirements. Highest type of things will be like League of Legends or Sims 3 level. Along with, of course, a decent ability to use word >-> and all the other basic functions laptops are used for. Looking for over 2ghz processor speed, but I'm wondering if Duo core would be suitable, or if I should look for a triple or quad core. Considering three main options at the moment, but Ill likely talk to professionals and listen to their opinion before buying anything.
Currently I'm looking at;
Fujitsu Q702 Tablet/Laptop, i5 3427U 1.8 ghz, 3mb cache.4gb ram 128gb ssd. Graphics card "Intel HD Graphics 4000" For $250. (Not actually used, disregard source)

Lenovo G50-30 Laptop, Intel Pentium Quad Core N3540 2.16ghz, 2mb cache. 4gb ram 500 gb hdd. I don't know about the graphics card…

Alternatively, I was considering putting together my own desktop or laptop, with a couple of friends who work with computers. Is this option likely to be more affordable, and better suit my purposes? Also, is it likely Id be able to put together a decent laptop, or would I most likely be restricted to a desktop.
And what type of graphics card would I need?
