What the hell is wrong with my new computer?

Ok, so I purchased a lenovo y-500 laptop so I could be able to play most games, but ever since about a month ago my computer has not been normal. When i'm on youtube i can't even watch videos half the time, cause they just freeze after like 2 minutes which is very annoying. Also i can't even download anything it just stops at 99% or just finishes download and never opens. I don't understand why all of this is happening. Does anyone know what these problems mean, or how I could fix them? Oh and also I have adblocker, but i get like thousands of pop ups for somereason.

Added (1). I scanned my computer defragmented, updated everything and starting using firefox, and now everything is working.

Did you do a full scan with an antivirus? Are all the drivers up to date? Try to do a scan with "Mailwarebytes Anti-Malware". Do a disk defragmentation and disk cleanup. If nothing works, report back and i'll see what i can do for you

Since it, s new, use L, s Cust service and warranty service.

I couldn't get online at all w/ my new L v570 two yrs ago.

I, d get message: "security settings prevent this site from opening" but I could never find which settings.

I, ve been using windows since 95 & Internet explorer for yrs and I couldn't fix this.

I called L under my warranty and they did Remote Asst and deleted McAfee & File Hippo.

Things were fine then.

& I, d extend warranty at least 1 year, and expand coverage to cover hinges, etc.

Laptops are generally not good for games as they are not strong enough, usually Alienware laptops handle games the best, Lenovo do not. Make sure your adblocker is enabled in your chrome extension settings. If you downloaded your games there's a chance they had viruses in them, so just do what Abel has mentioned in his comment above to deal with that. If you downloaded and installed games and apps from the internet, make sure that when you install you do not end up installing other useless and harmful stuff in the process (read what the form is saying before clicking next and if you can decline from installing another app attached to the one you actually downloaded, do so). I know a lot of internet based downloads when you install can add some nasty things (delta search bar is the most common and the worst). These apps can often corrupt and ruin a system.

Your computer is infected with a virus, trojan, spyware, or all three. If you do not have a good anti-virus program and anti-spyware program installed get one today. The start your computer in Safe Mode and run a full scan. Report the findings.
