I'm very confused to buy a laptop for my personal use.
When I choose Dell, there's no HDMI port; some of my friends asked to avoid Sony and HP, some of them does not prefer Lenovo also. So, I'm totally confused to buy my laptop with 14"/15.6" true HD screen, Intel 4th generation i3/i5 processor, minimum 500 GB hard disc, 4GB RAM, 1GB/2GB grafix card and modern connectivity.
Please help me, as my budget can't exceed 30,000-35,000 INR.

It can be confusing and I don't think brand matters because they buy there parts from the same places and simply put their name on the finished product. It boils down to getting the most computer for your budget. It always helps to know what you will be using the laptop for so that you know which parts matter most to you. Do you need a large hard drive? Will you be running many programs at once? Multicores and more ram help here. Do you need HD video with and HDMI out? Will you be playing games? Strong graphics card and fast cpu help here. I usually read many user reviews for the models I'm interested in to see what they liked and more importantly didn't like. Some people want a $1000 laptop for $400, it ain't going to happen.
