I have a Lenovo flex 3 with an i5 processor and the thing takes 1 hr to download a 200 mb file (20-30 kb/s).
why is it so slow? I thought i5 was supposed to be fast?

Go to your ISP Support website and look for Troubleshooting Slow Internet. Or call them. A fast Processor still needs properly functioning Internet Hardware and Drivers.

It is your Internet and broad band access, not the laptop speed.
