So I have a Sony Blue Ray 3D player that is connected to a Epson Home Cinema 730 HD projector. What I want to do is connect my Lenovo Thinkpad Edge through an HDMI Cord to the blue ray player. Everytime I do it comes up green and there's still sound. Now this HDMI cord works with everything else and my laptop has been able to go onto all different TVs through the same HDMI Cord. What I also found weird is that when I connected another laptop to the blue ray through the same HDMI cord (Mac Book Pro), it worked fine. I have also connected my PS3 through the same cord to the blue ray and it worked too. My question is what is preventing my laptop from being seen through the blue ray player? I don't want to connect it to the Projector itself cause I want to use the surround sound system also.
Why my laptop shows green on blue ray player?

Try going into Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Display\Screen Resolution and changing your settings for multi-screen display there. You likely just aren't configured for multiple screens yet. If you don't see the projector listed, try pressing the detect button.
