I have a Lenovo Y510P, the problem is wheneve the laptop is plugged in and charging and due to a power cut or if I remove the charger and plug the charger back in, it won't charge. What I have to do is, shut down/hibernate the laptop, remove the battery then turn off the charger and plug it in. If not done, it won't charge.
I've tried searching for service centers but none of them are within a 300 km/ 160 miles radius.
Why won't my laptop charge until shut down?

Hi as mention earlier it is a fault with the power components battery and power charger are failing but which one is the cause. With out substituting one or the other it would be difficult to isolate the culprit.
