Lenovo idea pad 500 running really slow?

Not a mac…

Slow performance could be because of following reasons.
1. Hardware problem.
2. Computer is infected with viruses.

If your hardware configuration is fine. But you are still having such kind of problem. Then you need to follow these option:
1. Delete all temporary files from your computer.
2. Delete prefetch files from your computer.
3. Run Cleanmgr command on your computer.
4. Uninstall all third party programs from your computer.
5. Clean your computer with good antivirus. This may help you better.

Once all process will done. You need to shutdown your computer for a while and reboot it. This will start working fine.
