Lenovo laprop t410 stuck on?

Stuck on an operating system wasn't found? Windows 7. Where can I download a free copy of Windows 7 or do I need to download recovery disk? Can I put it on my flash drive?

Sounds like a typical hard disk failure. In simple terms, it's dead. Sorry, Lin.

More "technical" explanation:

This issue may occur if one or more of the following conditions are true:

-The basic input/output system (BIOS) does not detect the hard disk.
-The hard disk is damaged.
-Sector 0 of the physical hard disk drive has an incorrect or malformed master boot record (MBR). Note: Some third-party programs or disk corruption can damage an MBR.
-An incompatible partition is marked as Active.
-A partition that contains the MBR is no longer active.

Looks like… It's time to shop for a shiny new ï£ MacBook ï£ …

If you have a Lenovo t410 tried pushing the blue button at startup and see if it will take you to the recovery console it has a built-in recovery partition. If not try f8 to get you to the recovery console activate it and it will reinstall Windows 7 that's what it's there for

You have either 1) erased(reformatted) the main C:\ disk, in which case just UNFORMAT it. 2) you have accidentally tried to start a USB stick or SDCARD which does not have an OS on it. In which case take it out and boot your c:\ drive properly. *** to unformat, start an OS disk to the command prompt and type in bootrec/fixmbr. You can boot a hiren's 15.2 to do that. *** note if you stupidly full erased the drive and it is truly BLANK(that takes about an hour), then you need to start a CDrom install disk.
