Both of them are at $999 and have similar specs except for storage. The Lenovo carries 2 TB + 256 SSD while the Asus carries 1 TB + 126 SSD. Which of the two seems to be better?

Unless you mistyped the specs, the Lenovo is better in terms of storage. Both the solid state and the conventional drive are twice the size as those on the ASUS.
