Lenovo with Radeon Graphics or Asus with GeForce?

Just wondering which would be better for gaming.

An Asus with GeForce GTS 360M graphics or a Lenovo with Radeon 6470G graphics?

Never had an Asus but heard they were great for games. Lenovo however is one of the best, quietest, and coolest (temperature wise) machines out there.

So which one should I go with for gaming? I also do some writing work as well.

I'd go for asus with Geforce
i have and Asus laptop with GT 630M and it run high end games with high frame rate. It has started to show age down due to the next gen games. (i play all my games in highest graphics option)
Geforce is a must have for pc gaming as games now are now being specifically aimed at nvidia compatability.

I have an asus in gaming configuration with a geforce 560M (being used for scientific computing and virtual LAN experiments rather than gaming).

the graphics and computing power rocks, but its runs really, really hot. (the power supply is a 7.7A supply, compared to the 4.4A supplies used by most laptops.)

running cool and energy efficient is a requirement that runs contrary to high powered computing and graphics rendering for gaming (or CG animation production or whatever you're doing.)

if power is an issue, i'd advise against the asus (since i know what a power pig mine is.) but if you need raw performance, the asus is hard to beat for the price!
